Privacy Policy
Last updated 8 September 2026
This policy explains what Dabbzo collects when you use the Dabbzo app or this website, why it is collected, and who else ever sees it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
When you create an account
Your name and phone number. The phone number is how you sign in — we send a one-time code to it and verify that code rather than asking you to keep a password. We do not ask for your email address, date of birth, or gender.
When you order
- The delivery address you enter, if you want food delivered. This is optional — you can skip it and collect your order instead.
- Your device location, but only if you tap the button asking us to find your address for you, and only at that moment. We use it to fill in the address field and nothing else. Dabbzo does not track your location in the background, and the app works normally if you deny the permission.
- Your order history — what you ordered, the arrival time you chose, and what it cost. This is what the Bookings tab shows you, and it is what lets support answer a question about a past order.
Payments
Online payments are handled by Razorpay. Your card, UPI, or bank details are entered into Razorpay's checkout and go directly to them — Dabbzo never receives or stores them. What we get back is whether the payment succeeded and a reference for it. If you choose to pay cash, no payment details exist at all.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data. Not to anyone, for any amount.
- We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or other food businesses.
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiles on this website.
- We do not send you marketing messages you did not ask for.
Who else sees your data
Only the services Dabbzo needs to function, and only the part each one needs:
- Supabase — hosts the database your account and bookings live in.
- Razorpay — processes online payments, as described above.
- 2Factor — delivers the one-time sign-in code to your phone number.
- The kitchen and delivery staff — see your name, your order, and your address if you are having it delivered. They cannot see your payment details.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, which is a sentence every policy has and which we hope never applies.
How long we keep it
Your account and order history are kept while your account is open, because that history is a feature you use. Records tied to a completed payment are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your choices
- See or correct your details — your profile is editable in the app at any time.
- Delete your account — email us and we will remove your account and personal details, keeping only what payment records legally require.
- Location — grant or revoke it in your phone's settings whenever you like. Dabbzo keeps working either way.
Children
Dabbzo is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and say so in the app. We will not quietly broaden what we collect.
